Duty-free alcoholic beverages can be purchased directly on board. These will be conveniently delivered to your cabin or suite on the final day of your cruise.
If you are celebrating a special occasion on board, you are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages. Should you wish to enjoy them in one of our restaurants or bars, a corkage fee will be charged to your onboard account.
Please note: The purchase and consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited for guests under 18 years of age. In U.S. territorial waters, the legal drinking age is 21.
Guests are welcome to contact the reception (Purser’s Office) for general inquiries. Additionally, the Tour Office team is available to assist with booking shore excursions and arranging special activities in the ports of call. For German-speaking guests, a German-speaking Host or Hostess is available to provide support and answer any questions.
All Cunard ships are equipped with a modern hospital capable of providing medical assistance in cases of illness or accidents on board.
However, these facilities are not intended to continue treatment for pre-existing conditions. Guests requiring special medical care must request approval in writing from the cruise line prior to booking. Dialysis facilities are not available on board.
Due to limited medical resources on board and restricted availability of medical care ashore, the following policy applies to pregnant guests: At the time of disembarkation, pregnancy must not exceed 23 weeks.
Pregnant guests must carry a medical certificate or a corresponding note from their midwife confirming both their ability to travel and the health status of both mother and unborn child. It must also provide written confirmation that the pregnancy is not considered high-risk and specify the expected date of delivery.
Medical treatments on board are subject to fees, which will be charged to the guest’s onboard account. We recommend ensuring that any potential medical expenses on board or abroad are covered by appropriate travel health insurance. All costs incurred must be settled directly by the guest.
In the event a guest becomes seriously ill during the voyage and cannot continue the cruise, disembarkation will occur at the nearest port. A local port agent will provide further assistance, and a Cunard representative will also contact the guest to offer additional support if needed.
Guests are strongly advised to carry medications in their hand luggage in their original packaging, with sufficient supply for the entire voyage to cover any unexpected delays. Guests with chronic or serious medical conditions should bring a current medical report containing all relevant information.
If medical devices, equipment, or injections are required on board, Cunard must be notified as early as possible prior to departure.
All Cunard ships are equipped with stabilizers to ensure a smooth voyage. Guests experiencing seasickness may receive treatment at the hospital. Additionally, seasickness medication is available at the reception (Purser’s Office).
Shortly before the end of the voyage, each guest will receive the necessary disembarkation and departure information from their cabin steward. These documents provide a detailed explanation of the disembarkation process. The cabin steward will also provide colored luggage tags, which guests should attach to each of their pieces of luggage. It is strongly recommended that fragile items, valuables, and medications be carried in hand luggage.
Before retiring to their cabin or suite on the final night, guests should place their packed luggage and bags – excluding hand luggage, fragile items, and valuables – in the hallway outside their cabin or suite. These items will be collected overnight and prepared for disembarkation and customs clearance ashore.
Before leaving the cabin or suite, guests should ensure that all personal belongings have been taken and that the safe has been checked. Cunard accepts no liability for items left behind.
After leaving the ship, guests will be escorted by a Cunard representative to the arrival terminal area where luggage is collected. Luggage will be organized according to the colored tags provided prior to disembarkation. Guests are generally asked to identify their belongings and then proceed to customs clearance. As many suitcases and bags may look similar, guests are advised to ensure they collect their own luggage to avoid mix-ups. Once luggage has been received and the cruise terminal exited, guests will be guided to the area where buses, taxis, and limousines are available.
Guests who have booked the Cunard arrival and departure package, a transfer from the ship to the airport, or are participating in a Cunard land program will be escorted by uniformed Cunard representatives to the appropriate departure points. Guests being collected by family or friends at the disembarkation port should note that, due to immigration and customs procedures, it may take up to four hours after the ship’s official arrival time before reunions are possible.
The official currency on board Cunard ships is the US Dollar. During online check-in prior to departure, guests are asked to register a credit card. All onboard charges are then billed to the personal onboard account linked to the registered credit card. If check-in takes place at the cruise terminal, the onboard account will be set up there.
All personal expenses on board—such as purchases in shops or at bars—are charged to the onboard account with the guest’s signature. When a credit card is registered at embarkation, billing is processed automatically through this card. Guests with chip-enabled cards may be asked to enter the four-digit PIN. Cards without a PIN can generally also be registered. For security reasons, the credit card remains in the guest’s view during registration, and no card data is stored in the system.
To open an onboard account, an authorization of 100 USD is requested from the credit card issuer. Additional daily authorizations occur only if expenses exceed this amount. If the total expenses remain below 100 USD, the difference is credited back to the credit card account.
The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club, and American Express. Guests are advised to confirm card acceptance with Cunard prior to departure and ensure the card is enabled for payments in US Dollars during the voyage.
If no credit card is provided, a cash deposit must be made at the Purser’s Office (Reception) after embarkation. In this case, the guest is required to settle their onboard account at the end of the voyage in cash. The account must always maintain sufficient funds.
Regardless of the chosen payment method, a detailed statement will be delivered to the cabin or suite for review before the end of the voyage.
The following forms of payment cannot be accepted:
Prepaid credit cards (e.g., Kalixa)
Switch/Maestro, Visa Electron, and Solo cards
Bank or traveler's checks
€500 notes
Wire transfers to the ship
Small amounts of common foreign currencies can be exchanged on board; further information is available at Reception. For the countries visited during the voyage, it is recommended to obtain small amounts of local currency before departure. In general, cash is not required on board.
Guests are advised to inform their credit card provider of their travel plans, particularly to avoid restrictions due to unusual spending patterns. Once onboard charges exceed 100 USD (plus any onboard credit), new authorizations are regularly made. These authorizations may remain on the card for up to 28 days. Guests are therefore advised to request the removal of unused authorizations after the voyage to avoid unnecessary limitations on their credit limit.
World Cruise guests are requested to settle their onboard account at the end of each segment of the voyage. Specific dates will be announced on board.
For shore excursions, it is recommended to carry only the amount of cash needed for the day. Valuables, larger sums of cash, and any unnecessary credit cards should be stored in the cabin or suite safe.
If onboard credit has been granted as part of the voyage, it will be applied to the onboard account on the first morning of the voyage. This credit is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. It cannot be used in the casino, for currency exchange, medical bills, charitable donations, the purchase of medications, future voyages, or visa fees. The same restrictions apply to gift credits.
A voyage with Cunard is a truly special experience – and it comes as no surprise that many guests choose to celebrate meaningful moments while on board. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or honeymoon, the elegant atmosphere of a Cunard ship provides the perfect setting to mark such occasions in style. To complement these celebrations, Cunard offers a selection of thoughtful gifts – from floral arrangements, fine chocolates, wines, and champagne to indulgent spa treatments, classic keepsakes, and children’s gifts.
Farewells to family and friends may only take place prior to check-in. In accordance with international security regulations, visitors are not permitted on board at any time – including during embarkation, disembarkation, or while in port. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and security of all guests and crew members.
Each Cunard ship features an extensive library offering a wide selection of international literature. Books may be borrowed free of charge.
Cunard permits guests to bring guide dogs on board when required. If such assistance is needed, Cunard must be informed at the time of booking. Depending on the itinerary, ports of call, or specific national regulations, guide dogs may not be permitted to disembark in certain destinations. It is the guest’s responsibility to familiarize themselves in advance with the applicable requirements and to carry all necessary documentation and health certificates for the animal. Guide dogs may stay in their owner’s cabin or suite.
Dogs and cats may only be transported on Transatlantic Crossings aboard Queen Mary 2. These animals are accommodated in purpose-built kennels and are not permitted in guest areas of the ship. Transportation is carried out in accordance with international animal transport regulations and Cunard’s own policies. Allocation of a kennel is subject to the fulfillment of all health requirements and the availability of a kennel of suitable size.
For further information regarding the transport of dogs or cats on board Queen Mary 2, please contact the Cunard Reservations Department. Veterinary services are not available on board.
Cunard cannot accept liability for the health or well-being of any animal during its stay on board.
Depending on satellite reception, the most important world news is available in German in your cabin or suite.
Each evening, guests receive a copy of the next day’s programme in their cabin or suite, available in German. This daily overview provides details on the following day’s events and activities. The varied entertainment programme—presented in English—includes informative lectures, academic and cultural courses, aerobics and fitness classes, sporting competitions, games and leisure activities, as well as concerts, musicals, theatre performances, and film screenings.
On board Queen Mary 2, guests can also enjoy spectacular planetarium shows. On selected voyages departing from and returning to Hamburg or Kiel, an extended German-language programme is available.
The official language on board Cunard ships is English. However, many crew members also speak German, and a dedicated German Host or Hostess is available to assist with any questions. In addition, numerous materials—including the daily programme, onboard news, and menus—are available in German. The onboard television system also offers a German-language movie channel, and the library features a selection of German books.
A basic understanding of English is nevertheless recommended to make the most of the wide range of onboard entertainment and to engage with fellow international guests.
The onboard boutiques offer a refined selection of gifts and luxury items for every occasion. Guests will find perfumes, cosmetics, jewellery, fashion, accessories, and a curated range of wines, spirits, and liqueurs—duty-free on voyages outside the EU. In addition, a variety of everyday essentials is available.
All Cunard ships are equipped with modern classrooms and conference facilities for workshops and seminars, as well as a fully equipped Computer Learning Centre. A wide range of software is available for guests to use free of charge.
Under the name Cunard Insights, the line offers an engaging programme of enrichment opportunities. During your voyage, you are invited to attend lectures, discussions, Q&A sessions, and workshops, providing the chance to interact with distinguished guest speakers and experts.
Subjects covered include history, politics, the humanities, current social developments, art, and literature – inspiring, thought-provoking, and always encouraging dialogue and reflection.
Complimentary deck chairs and sun loungers – some with cushions and blankets – as well as towels are available for your comfort on the open decks.
Cunard is pleased to accommodate special dietary requests such as low-sodium, low-fat, or reduced-sugar meals, as well as lactose-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, wheat-free, vegetarian, vegan, and kosher options. Please note, however, that Cunard’s chefs are not medically trained and therefore cannot offer individualized nutritional consultations.
Guests with dietary needs extending beyond the above options are advised to contact Cunard in writing prior to travel. Please inform your travel agent or Cunard no later than six months before departure, or at the time of booking, of any special dietary requirements.
Once on board, please speak with the Maître d’hôtel to confirm your arrangements. Your waiter will review your menu selections with you each evening for the following day.
Cabins and suites are equipped with both British three-pin sockets and American/European two-pin outlets.
It is recommended that guests bring a universal travel adapter.
A team of professional photographers is on hand to capture special moments from your voyage—both on board and ashore. Their photographs are displayed daily in the Photo Gallery and are available for purchase. Guests may also arrange private appointments for individual portrait sessions. Additionally, you can conveniently print your own photos on board.
If you have left personal belongings on board, please contact Cunard directly using the designated contact form and select “Lost Property” as the subject line. Ensure that all fields are completed in full.
Cunard will inform you within four to eight weeks whether your item has been located.
Which Items Can Be Returned?
Due to the large number of lost items and for security and hygiene reasons, only certain types of property can be returned:
Jewellery, binoculars, and watches (if found in cabins)
Electronic devices such as tablets, e-readers, laptops (with or without charger), cameras, camcorders, mobile phones, and associated chargers
Handbags, purses, or wallets containing identifiable personal items (if found in cabins)
Passports – if the owner cannot be contacted on the day of disembarkation, these will be forwarded directly to the appropriate consulate
Unidentified items found on board may, where possible, be sent ashore for further identification. All remaining lost property will be properly disposed of at the end of the voyage.
Return Process and Storage Duration
Processing times for lost property may take at least eight weeks, depending on the ship’s location and disembarkation schedule. International shipping times may vary. A handling fee is charged to cover administrative and shipping costs.
Personal collection is possible by prior appointment only.
Unclaimed Items
Lost property is stored ashore for approximately three months. If unclaimed after this period, Cunard reserves the right to dispose of the items or donate them to approved charitable organizations.
What is a Future Cruise Credit?
If a booking must be cancelled, guests will automatically receive a Future Cruise Credit (FCC)—provided that no refund of payments made has been requested. The value of the FCC corresponds to the deposit amount required and already paid under Cunard’s booking terms and conditions. Any payments made in excess of the required deposit will also be converted into an FCC at 100% of their value.
The FCC will be credited to the guest’s Cunard World Club membership account within the following weeks and may be used toward any future booking. Refunds of an FCC can only be made up to the amount of the actual payments received.
If an FCC was used as payment for the cancelled booking, it will be re-credited to the guest’s Cunard account. If the value of the FCC originally applied was lower than the required deposit, a new FCC will be issued equal to the amount actually paid (up to the deposit amount). Any payments exceeding the deposit will likewise be fully converted into an FCC.
How can the Future Cruise Credit be used?
FCCs can be applied to any new Cunard voyage that is available for sale at the time of booking. They may be used with all Cunard fare types, subject to availability. If the cost of the new voyage exceeds the value of the FCC, guests need only pay the difference.
FCCs may also be used to enhance an existing booking—for example, to upgrade to a higher stateroom or suite category, or to change the underlying fare type. In such cases, guests should contact their travel agent or, for direct bookings, the Cunard Reservations Department. All FCCs are financially protected up to the value of payments made.
In addition, the FCC may be applied toward Cunard-booked hotel stays, flight upgrades, or independent transfers.
All new bookings made using an FCC are subject to Cunard’s Booking Terms and Conditions, including cancellation terms. Should a booking paid in part or in full with an FCC be cancelled, any refund will be issued in the form of a new FCC—less any applicable cancellation fees—and limited to the original FCC amount applied.
Options if the FCC is not accepted
If a guest does not wish to accept an FCC or prefers a monetary refund, a refund of payments made may be requested at any time.* Refunds are limited to the actual amounts paid and do not include any additional FCC value that may have been granted. Refund requests can only be submitted via the online refund form.
Contact and Redemption
To redeem a Future Cruise Credit, guests are encouraged to contact their travel agent or the Cunard Reservations Department. FCCs can also be redeemed when booking online. Further information is available on Cunard’s website.
*Non-refundable FCCs are excluded from this policy.
During the day, casual attire is perfectly appropriate on board, allowing guests to dress according to personal preference. In the evening, the atmosphere becomes more elegant.
Guests are kindly requested to wear smart attire from 6:00 PM when visiting most bars, restaurants, and event spaces. On Gala Evenings, guests are warmly invited to dress in their finest attire to celebrate the day in style. On a typical seven-night voyage, there are usually two to three such special evenings.
Smart Attire
Gentlemen are asked to wear smart trousers with a shirt and jacket, optionally with a tie. Ladies are welcome in skirts, elegant trousers with blouse, dresses, or other classic, refined combinations.
Gala Evenings
Gala Evenings are formal occasions. Gentlemen should wear a dinner jacket, tuxedo, or dark suit with tie or bow tie. Ladies may choose evening or cocktail dresses, suits, or other appropriate formal attire.
For guests who prefer a more casual evening, various dining and entertainment options are available. Casual attire is always welcome in areas such as the buffet restaurant, Golden Lion Pub, Carinthia Lounge, Winter Garden, Garden Lounge, Yacht Club, and G32 (information regarding casual alternatives on Queen Anne will be provided at a later date). Smart jeans are permitted, while shorts, sportswear, swimwear, and sleeveless shirts (for gentlemen) should be reserved for the Fitness Centre, Spa, and outdoor decks.
Please note that the number of Gala Evenings may be adjusted during the voyage for operational reasons.
Cunard voyages are generally suitable for guests with limited mobility. However, some public areas on board—such as certain observation decks—are only accessible via stairs.
Guests are requested to inform Cunard at the time of booking if they require mobility aids such as wheelchairs, electric scooters, or walking aids, or if they have any other special requirements that need to be accommodated. Prior to travel, guests will be asked to complete a relevant questionnaire.
Guests bringing an electric mobility scooter must be accommodated in accessible cabins or suites.
All Cunard ships feature elevators, accessible public areas, and most open decks, as well as a limited number of wheelchair-accessible cabins and suites. Guests requiring mobility aids are responsible for bringing and storing their own equipment in their cabin or suite, as storing such devices outside the cabin is not permitted for safety reasons. Non-compliance with this policy may result in the guest being required to leave the ship. Cunard cannot accept responsibility for the storage or safekeeping of mobility aids.
Guests who require assistance on board or ashore are strongly advised to travel with a companion capable of providing the necessary support, as the crew does not provide personal assistance services.
Guests with Special Needs On Board and Ashore
For further information, please visit the Cunard website:
Barrierefreiheit an Bord und an Land.
Guests may choose to purchase a beverage package during their voyage.
The available packages cover the majority of beverages served on board.
Prices are per person, per day, and valid for the entire duration of the cruise. Beverage packages are available on voyages of five nights or longer.
Important: All adult guests sharing the same cabin must purchase the same beverage package. Alcoholic beverages are limited to 15 drinks per day, while non-alcoholic and hot beverages have no such limit.
Guests in the Britannia category enjoy complimentary breakfast service to the cabin until 10:00 AM. Guests in Britannia Club, Princess Grill, and Queens Grill categories benefit from complimentary 24-hour cabin or suite service. Additional charges may apply for selected specialty items.
The onboard casinos offer a variety of games including Blackjack, Roulette, and Poker, as well as a selection of slot machines and video games. Bingo sessions are held regularly, and complimentary introductory lessons are available for those wishing to learn the games.
Please note that gift certificates or onboard credit cannot be used in the casino. Guests under 18 years of age are prohibited from gambling or entering the casino.
A variety of complimentary programmes are available on board for children and teenagers aged 2 to 17 years. Supervision within the dedicated children’s areas – The Play Zone, The Kids Zone and The Teen Zone – is provided by qualified, English-speaking youth staff.
While children are participating in the programme, at least one parent or guardian must remain on board and be contactable at all times. Children aged two years and above may attend the programmes without parental supervision.
Registration for a child’s participation can be completed up to 15 days prior to embarkation.
Please note that pushchairs, baby bottles, infant formula, and nappies must be brought from home, as these items are not available for purchase on board.
Cunard ships sail across the world’s oceans, often spending several consecutive days at sea, far from the nearest port. While a ship’s medical centre is available, the range of treatment options is limited. The facilities are not equipped to provide specialised care for infants.
For safety reasons, the minimum age for children varies depending on the destination and is generally six months or one year. The following table provides an overview of the general minimum age requirements by itinerary. The confirmed minimum age for a specific voyage is available upon request.
Destination | Minimum Age |
Transatlantic (including all voyages featuring a Transatlantic crossing) | 12 months |
World Voyages and Grand Voyages | 12 months |
Transpacific (including Hawaii, South Pacific and all voyages featuring Transpacific crossings) | 12 months |
Asia, Arabian Gulf & Africa, Australia & New Zealand, South America, Iceland (shorter voyages may have a minimum age of 6 months) | 12 months |
North America (excluding Hawaii), Alaska, New England & Canada, Caribbean, Mexico, Panama Canal (longer voyages may have a minimum age of 12 months) | 6 months |
Europe (excluding Transatlantic crossings and Iceland) | 6 months |
All Cunard ships are fully air-conditioned. The temperature in your stateroom or suite can be individually adjusted for your comfort.
In every port of call, guests can choose from a wide variety of shore excursions. The detailed Cunard Shore Excursion Programme is made available to all booked guests in advance of their voyage via the online guest portal My Voyage, where excursions can conveniently be reserved and paid for prior to departure.
Subject to availability, excursions may also be booked on board once the voyage has commenced.
Most excursions are operated by local agents and accompanied by English-speaking guides. On selected voyages, tours with German-speaking guides are also offered. Guests interested in participating in a German-language excursion are strongly advised to reserve these in advance through My Voyage. Please note that these excursions are subject to a minimum number of participants. If this minimum is not reached prior to departure, the German-speaking option may have to be cancelled for operational reasons, and last-minute changes cannot be accommodated.
Wherever possible, Cunard ships dock directly alongside the pier. In ports where this is not possible, guests are transferred to shore via tender boats, which are provided free of charge. Such ports are marked with an anchor symbol in the voyage itinerary.
Tender boats typically accommodate around 100 passengers. To board a tender, guests must be able to step up or down several steps of up to 20 cm (8 inches) and cross a gap of up to 45 cm (18 inches) between the platform and the boat.
Before boarding, all guests will be asked to step across a 45 cm (18 inch) “test gap” unassisted. Parents may carry their children across if they demonstrate that they can do so safely.
Crew members are on hand to offer assistance when boarding and disembarking, but for safety reasons they are not permitted to lift or carry guests. Flat, secure footwear is recommended when using tender boats.
Guests using wheelchairs or mobility scooters are responsible for dismantling and reassembling their equipment independently or with the help of a companion. Crew may assist when it is both possible and safe to do so, provided no individual component exceeds 20 kg (44 lbs).
Guests with registered mobility needs will be invited on board to attend an information session about tender operations. This includes a practical mobility assessment that must be completed independently and without assistance. If an officer determines that a guest’s safety cannot be ensured during the tendering process, guests are kindly asked to respect this decision in the interest of their own safety.
Subject to change without notice.
All Cunard ships operate a strict non-smoking policy in all indoor public areas. The only exceptions are the Churchill’s Cigar Lounge, reserved exclusively for cigar and pipe smokers, and designated outdoor smoking areas on deck (where cigarette smoking is permitted, but not cigars or pipes).
Smoking is not allowed in staterooms, suites, or on private balconies. The use of electronic cigarettes is also restricted to designated smoking areas only.
Before travelling, all guests are required to log in to Cunard’s online guest portal, My Voyage, to review and confirm the accuracy of their personal information.
To log in, you will need your first and last name (please enter any German umlauts as ae, oe, or ue and the letter ß as ss), your booking reference (found on your booking confirmation), and your date of birth.
It is important that the date of birth for you and all accompanying guests is entered correctly at the time of booking.
Guests are advised to check their access to My Voyage several weeks prior to departure to ensure a smooth login experience.
Booked guests receive access to the My Voyage portal, which provides a wide range of practical information about their upcoming journey.
After booking, guests should log in to verify their personal details using their name, booking number, and date of birth.
My Voyage also allows you to complete your online check-in prior to departure, significantly reducing embarkation time at the terminal. Once check-in has been completed, your boarding pass and luggage tags should be printed out and brought with you.
In addition, guests will receive regular e-mail updates before their voyage, containing important travel information and details on required documentation.
The evening dinner experience on board every Cunard ship is one of the true highlights of your voyage. Renowned for exceptional cuisine and the legendary White Star Service, Cunard’s restaurants are celebrated by guests and have received numerous international awards.
When selecting a stateroom or suite, guests are automatically assigned a table in one of the elegant main restaurants, where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served daily. In addition, a variety of alternative dining venues are available, offering an even wider selection of culinary experiences.
Room service is also available around the clock, offering a range of meals and snacks at any time of day or night.

The primary goal on board Cunard ships is to ensure that all guests enjoy a safe and carefree cruise. For this reason, safety measures are given the highest priority. Cunard follows one of the most comprehensive safety protocols in the industry. Every port of call is continuously assessed for security. If a port does not meet Cunard’s high safety standards, itinerary changes may occur at short notice. Guests are asked for their understanding in such cases. Certain areas of the ship may also be monitored by video for additional security.
Cunard ships are among the safest cruise vessels in the world and comply with all internationally applicable safety regulations. Upon entering your stateroom or suite, a safety video will be displayed on the television. All guests are required to watch this video attentively to become familiar with emergency procedures and safety instructions.
Afterwards, guests must proceed to their assigned muster station, where a crew member will scan their cruise card to document attendance—this procedure is mandatory for all guests. Each stateroom and suite is also equipped with a black folder containing detailed safety instructions, including emergency procedures and directions to the assigned muster station. Guests are strongly advised to read this information carefully.
Guests should also familiarize themselves with the use of the life jacket, which is provided in each stateroom. Child life jackets are available through the stateroom steward.
To enhance guest well-being, all Cunard ships offer a comprehensive range of spa, beauty, and hairdressing services. In addition to a fully equipped hair salon, the ships provide a variety of treatments for relaxation and personal care.
On Queen Mary 2, the expansive spa area spans Decks 7 and 8, where qualified therapists perform a wide selection of treatments designed for relaxation and rejuvenation.
On Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria, guests can enjoy the exclusive Mareel Wellness & Beauty Spa on Decks 9 and 10, offering soothing massages, facial and body treatments, and professional hairstyling for both men and women. The spa also features a hydropool and thermal suites.
Use of the sauna, steam room, and hydropool in the spa area requires a paid day pass, while the saunas in the fitness center changing rooms on Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria are available free of charge. Treatments such as massages are charged separately.
All Cunard ships also feature a fully equipped fitness center, with scheduled classes such as aerobics, Pilates, and yoga announced in the daily program. Access to the fitness facilities is generally complimentary, with certain specialized classes subject to an additional fee.
All Cunard staterooms and suites are equipped with a direct-dial telephone. Guests may also use their own mobile phones for calls. A dedicated maritime mobile network ensures reception at sea, provided the mobile service provider offers international roaming. Guests are advised to check availability and costs with their provider prior to departure.
Wi-Fi is available for a fee. Various internet packages allow access on personal devices, either for the entire cruise or for individual days. Packages differ in data volume and can be conveniently booked via the ship’s app, “My Voyage”. Wi-Fi is available throughout the ship, but signal strength may vary depending on location. Internet access is via satellite and may occasionally be limited. Speeds are significantly lower than land-based high-speed connections and cannot be guaranteed at all times.
Charges for internet packages are posted to the guest’s onboard account. If a connection is made via shore-based mobile networks, charges are billed directly by the mobile service provider, not the ship. Computers with internet access are also available in the ship’s computer rooms for a fee.

Each stateroom and suite is equipped with a personal safe that can be set with an individual code. Guests are strongly advised to keep valuables and delicate items—such as jewelry, electronic devices, cameras, or medications—in their hand luggage at all times.
Despite Cunard’s careful handling of luggage, liability for loss, damage, or misplacement of baggage and personal property is limited. Further information can be found in the Cunard Line Terms and Conditions of Carriage.
