Caribbean Cruise: A Voyage of Discovery Through Diverse Regions and Island Groups

The Caribbean offers a wide variety of fascinating regions and island groups that make ideal destinations for a Caribbean cruise.

The Western Caribbean includes the Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands, the latter being a British Overseas Territory. The Greater Antilles also belong geographically to the Western Caribbean. These include Cuba, Hispaniola (home to Haiti and the Dominican Republic), Jamaica, the British Overseas Territory of the Cayman Islands, as well as the U.S. territories of Puerto Rico and Navassa Island.

To the east and southeast of the Greater Antilles lie the Lesser Antilles. This island group is divided into the Windward Islands and the Leeward Islands—terms originating from historic seafaring. The Windward Islands are those most exposed to the trade winds.

Which Ports Are Visited on Cunard Line Caribbean Cruises?

Cunard ships sail the Caribbean on a variety of cruise itineraries. Some Caribbean cruises begin with a transatlantic crossing. Depending on the ship and route, the port of departure may vary.

Based on your preferred travel period and the duration of your planned Caribbean cruise in 2025 and 2026, different ports and destinations may be included. Below, we present some island highlights that feature on Cunard’s Caribbean cruise programmes:
